Privacy Policy

• We only collect what you choose to send us, plus basic statistics about how the site is used.
• We use it to reply to you and to run our business. We never sell it.
• You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete what we hold about you.

• When you use the contact form: your name, email address, company (optional), phone number (optional), the type of project, and anything you write in your message, such as your budget or timeline.
• When you browse the site: anonymous usage statistics such as pages viewed, the site that sent you, device type, country, and how fast pages load. See “Analytics and cookies” below.
• When you email, call, or WhatsApp us, or book a call: whatever you choose to share with us there.

We don’t ask for payment card details, ID numbers, or other sensitive information through this website.

• To reply to your message and, if we work together, to plan, deliver, and invoice your project.
• To send you one automatic email confirming we received your message.
• To keep normal business and tax records.
• To see which pages are useful and to fix pages that are slow or broken.

We don’t sell, rent, or trade your information, we don’t use it for third-party advertising, and we won’t add you to a mailing list without asking.

On every visit we use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. They count page views and measure how quickly pages load. They don’t use cookies and don’t identify you personally.

If you click “Accept” on our cookie banner, we also load Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. These set cookies and show us how visitors move through the site. Clarity can record clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement on a page so we can find parts that are confusing or broken. We turn on IP anonymisation in Google Analytics and switch off its advertising features. If you click “Decline”, or never answer the banner, neither tool is loaded.

Your banner choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again. To change it, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the banner will appear on your next visit.

Videos on the site are streamed by Mux. To play a video, Mux receives basic technical details such as your IP address and device, and it collects playback data (for example, buffering and video quality) that helps us check how videos perform. Our video player is set not to use cookies.

A few trusted companies handle information for us. Each one uses it only to provide its service:

• Vercel hosts this website.
• Resend delivers contact form messages to our inbox and sends your confirmation email.
• Google Calendar handles bookings if you schedule a call through our booking page.
• WhatsApp (owned by Meta) carries the conversation if you message us there, under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.
• Mux, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity, as described above.

Some of these companies store data outside Canada, including in the United States. When that happens, your information is protected by their security measures but is also subject to the laws of that country.

Only the founder reads the messages you send us. We use reputable providers with industry-standard security. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable care to protect your information.

We keep contact form messages and emails for as long as we need them to answer you and, if we work together, for our business and tax records. If we don’t end up working together, you can ask us to delete your message at any time.

Analytics data is kept by the analytics providers under their own retention settings.

In Canada, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to withdraw your consent. You can also ask us to delete it, except for records we must keep by law.

If you are in the UAE or anywhere else, you can make the same requests and we will handle them the same way.

To make a request, email Arya@aryaymehr.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We will reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.

If you’re not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
